Teaching A Man To Fish

"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” This proverb defines what this event has shown. The TLE Department had always aimed to develop critical reasoning, self-reliance, individuality, cultural awareness, and entrepreneurship in students through the enhancement of their skills in various uses of technology and the application of life skills, by the school's vision and mission and is very evident throughout. The main event was held from December 2 to December 9, 2022. It has aided students in participating in and promoting a variety of practices.

During the EstudyaNTEPRENEUR Event, we visited the TLE Food Fair Booth, where they demonstrated their various skills in cooking Filipino and other diverse cuisines. It's of great opportunity to teach nutrition skills like meal planning and making healthier food choices. Cooking can assist other students in accepting responsibility. Each child is given a task to assist in meal preparation and cleanup. In elementary school, I had always enjoyed this subject. It has always been a memorable experience to learn these things.

We witnessed a variety of cooking practices during our visit to the school bazaar, ranging from the preparation of pickles to the preparation of traditional Filipino dishes. They had made it traditionally. I believe that by learning these cooking techniques and changing my diet, I will be able to incorporate these excellent practical applications into my daily life in avoiding a sedentary lifestyle.
